Kudos to the government. Three new medical colleges, four private universities, a Central university, an IIT and many other plans on the line! That’s good. Now no more maramari for the seats in colleges. More and more youths will gain education within their nearest places. It would be less expensive and more convenient. I think every states of out India need more colleges to give admission to many. Otherwise even getting 80 or 90 % is not good enough to get admission in desired subjects.

More of doctors are required in the interior areas, but lack of medical colleges is hurdle in making more doctors.

No doubt this is a great step taken by the Himachal govt. but it needs to pay immediate attention towards the problem of unemployment as well.

Students can get the higher education here but this will not solve the purpose till they get to work here as well. Himachali youth is big time suffering due to the unemployment because they are left with no option but to work in other states.
