Even as inflation continues to rise in India, The riches here are getting richer by every passing day which ultimately gives them that capacity to go in for costlier car monikers viz. Mercedes. Coupled with this fact, is the interest the foreign car makers have shown in this market by introducing models which were never before seen in India. Despite all this it would be the small car launches which would define the next few years of a company’s future here in India.

It means people belong to upper middle class are shifting to higher income group in India, vehicles like Mercedes Benz is not mere a four-wheeler but a status symbol and Indians love to show status symbols. At the same time Poor are becoming poorer in India and the gap between poor and rich is widening too.
