Palestine :
Much of the news coverage on the current Gaza war has focused on the suffering of children, and rightly so. I hold the Palestinian governments and people, as well as their allies, 100 percent responsible for the deaths of both Israeli and Palestinian...

So what are they planning on doing, exactly? Unless they've got some kind of "terrorist detector" that actually works or they flatten the country and depopulate the area, I don't really see this solving anything.

And no, I'm not advocating mass slaughter; What I am saying is that unless Israel pretty much kills everyone, they're going to create enough anger and resentment to fuel two or three more Hamas-like groups. Neither seems like much of a solution, either from a practical or moral standpoint.

It is wrong to attack the children but if we see the other side of the coin, these "kids" will end up growing up to wanting to destroy Israel like their fathers, and the wives probably believe the same thing. Besides that is what they are most likely being taught in the schools anyway.

Don't think that i am defending Israel in any way or is not bothered for the dead children. I just want to highlight the Israel's point of view to kill the children.

Bravo to u sir...
I wonder what u were taught in school to come out with such great theories...

Sorry, but the last line doesn’t really prove that you’re ”bothered” for those deaths, you are saying that it’s ok to kill them so that they don’t turn out into terrorists... At least stick to your opinion!!!

Anyways, very Humanitarian of you... I think you’d make a great politician...

Oh, I hope you notice the sarcasm here!!! cz I’m not sure of that after you’re great theories and all!!!

This is what happens when you allow your government to launch missiles into a neighboring country from your rooftops, a government you voted for, a government you supported. This is what happens when you store weapons and ammo for your government's military. This is what happens when your police force does nothing to stop the unguided rockets fired by the people you elected, this is what happens when you do nothing to stop the unguided rockets fired by your government.

And this is what happens when you use your dead children as a convenient photo opportunity.

Hello Gal
What do you expect to happen when your neighboring country comes with an army, and demolishes hundreds of your cities and villages and kick you out ?
What do you expect when this country says that this land is for her and that this is written in their holy books ?
What do you do when this occupier starts killing your people and tries to get you out of your place ?

What happens when this occupier at the end admits that he is an occupier and then promises you to give you back SOME of YOUR land and then he doesnt ?

Some questions, Osaid...

1. Have you voted pro or against Hamas?
2. What have you done when Hamas initiated the attacks against a superior force?
3. Have you taken the streets in protest against Hamas?
4. Knowing that Israel would retaliate, have you taken your family away from the danger zone to secure their lives?
5. Have you initiate a peace passé at to demonstrate that Palestinians don’t agree with Hamas actions?

Please tell me what have you done to demonstrate the intentions of your peace?

Have you made an online declaration against Hamas behaviour?

I don’t think anyone can seriously say that the Hamas tactic of putting civilians in the firing line does not exist. Of course it does. There is simply too much evidence of it.

Having said that, Hamas didn’t invent this tactic and, cynical as this may sound, it’s become a part of war over the years.

I too want to see these horrible images of bloodied children on the front page. What I don’t like to see on the other hand is the disgusting propaganda/anti-propaganda reactions to them; this vulgar tit-for-tat ”it’s their fault” mentality.

I just want the world to think of the children and their suffering.

Because they are the last people that either Hamas OR Israeli Hawks are worried about.....

And the same could be said for some of the comments on this post.

Thank you for posting this article Sanwali.
